i'm of the opinion that 2007 was a pretty good year for music. there were debuts from Yeasayer, Vampire Weekend (i know, i know, they're everywhere, but the album is solid), and Battles (which is an AWESOME album). there were new albums from Beirut, Megadeth, Dream Theater, and Rush (i'm still working on that one). i'm having trouble weeding through everything on my own. whats everyone else listening to? name the last 20 songs you played. i'll start:

i just bought Supertramp's 2-disc anthology, and i gotta tell you, it was worth every penny. i also just bought Parliament's "Mothership Connection" and i can't believe i didn't own that earlier. imagine how much better the 'Around-the-Universe' burn cruise would have been to "Give up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)...
