Last night I went to the color correction for this commercial that we're doing at work, as bored as you probably are trying to imagine it, it was still pretty sweet. The guy that my boss goes to for color work was voted one of the "50 smartest people in Hollywood" and did the color for Pirates of the Carribbean and (dig it) 300. They have these mini movie theaters set up just for one dude sitting at this ridiculous control panel (which is called a Da Vinci) that looks like you'd have to go to the Starfleet Academy to learn how to operate. There were also hostesses that brought us drinks and Thai food.

so are you going to be the 51st smartest person in hollywood? are you gonna run the da vinci? cause that would be pretty awesome. especially if they kept bringing you drinks.
joel that is terribly awesome. it looks like that thing lets you play top gun for nintendo. probably in like amazing rotovision supercolor.
